Test chambers of sizes varying from 80 L to 2000 L are manufactured with low temperature range from -5 Deg. C to -70 Deg. C. The chambers are dedicated for carrying out cold bend test & cold impact test on cables as per various national and international test standards.
For IEC/UL requirement, the chamber is fitted with automatic cable bend assembly and pneumatic cable impact assembly for carrying out tests without opening the door.

Automatic Cold Bend Tester
The tests involve uniformly rotating the spindle at a speed of one turn every 5 seconds, guiding the sample so that it folds into a tight helix, completely adhering to the spindle.
The diameter of the spindle and number of turns depend on the wire or cable thickness and type. Supplied with set of 9 mandrels as per IEC requirement.
Pneumatic Cold Impact Tester
After the cooling period, the test consists in positioning the samples one by one, as indicated in the standard, and then dropping a percussion instrument over the sample from a height of 100 mm
