The manual cold elongation jig is suitable to clamp specimen between mechanical grippers after conditioning the sample inside a cold chamber. There is an option to manually elongate the sample at the required pull speed or alternatively connect the jig to stepper motor and drive mechanism with a touch screen interface indicating the displacement and optionally test load.
